The Nashua congregation had its beginnings in the apartment of the
Gratz family. Several members from the Boston congregation
traveled to Nashua to attend that first divine service in Nashua, which
was conducted by Ev. Herman Paetzold in August 1970. After several
services in the apartment, rental quarters were secured at a location on
Daniel Webster Highway; the first service there was conducted on January
1, 1975. After seven years the congregation moved to its present
home on Concord Street.
Renovations to the congregation's new home - formerly a Jehovah
Witness' kingdom hall - were completed over the course of the next
year. In April 1984 District Apostle Kraus conducted a district
service at the Nashua church, with over 350 in attendance.
An extensive renovation of the building, which was approved by the
Nashua Historic District Commission, was started in 1994. The
congregation was rededicated on January 7, 1996; the service was
attended by 125 souls, including the new mayor-elect of Nashua.
We heartily invite the community of Nashua to join us in our Divine
services Sundays at 10:30 AM. We have a Sunday School for our children
that commences at 9:00 AM, and Divine services on Wednesday evenings at
8:00 PM. For more information about our church and services please
contact Rev Joseph Dziedzic at 603-881-5103.
