The Plattsburgh Congregation is located in the beautiful Adirondacks
of Upstate New York, just south of the Canadian border. Services
began in the early 1970’s when a few ministers from New Jersey
traveled to Plattsburgh to conduct services for a small group of
believers. The congregation was officially established in 1976 and
divine services began to be held in the basement of a convent located on
South Catherine Street. The sisters of the Our Lady of Victory
convent were kind enough to provide a room free of charge. From
there, the congregation grew in size and it became necessary to hold
services in other various rented quarters. Towards the end of
1981, construction began on a new church building located near the
intersection of Tom Miller Rd. and Smithfield Blvd. In February
1982, the new building was dedicated. Today, our congregation
continues to grow through joy and Christian fellowship. We have a
variety of activities for every age group. We invite you to join
us anytime. For additional information, please visit our web site
frequently for details of upcoming events. Questions can be
addressed to Rev. Ron Clamser, Jr. at (518) 492-7141 or rclamser@hotmail.com. We
hope to see you soon.
