Children

Children grow to know and love Jesus as their Savior in our multi-faceted Children’s Ministry. The first component is our graduated Sunday school program that progresses with children from Beginners class for ages 4-5, to Primary class for ages 6-10, and culminates with the Religious Instruction class for ages 11-14. These Sunday morning classes offer creative, age-appropriate Bible and Christian-living lessons, hands-on activities, music, and an “at home” pre-lesson for parents and children to share together.

In addition to Sunday school classes, many congregations offer Children’s Hour during a regular divine service each week. In this unique experience, children are able to enjoy the same message as the adult congregation, but in an interactive format just for them! Opportunities for family discussions multiply as parents and children can share with each other their distinct perspectives on the message.

In all divine services children are welcome to worship and participate as part of the congregation, including the celebration of Holy Communion.

It is our vision to develop a culture of learning that equips all people with the resources to inspire and teach our children to live a Christ-centered life.
