“You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” - Deuteronomy 6:7

A child's first experience of the love of God happens long before he or she enters the doorway of a church: It happens in the first moments he is held in his mother's arms and in his father's first whispers of reassurance and welcome. Children can best imagine the security of God’s love and grace when they first experience Him within their own family. That is why we believe that the best way to nurture a child's faith in God and the love of Jesus is to partner with parents to provide a consistent message of faith in church and at home.
