Transgressions | Week of February 6

Psalm 32:1 NKJV

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

One could say a great deal about this passage in Psalms. Foremost, it brings to our attention that the word “transgression” is actually equated with sin.

Perhaps it was just a brief thought that led us to condemn someone. Perhaps it was just a fleeting thought of lovelessness. Maybe we became angry with, or looked down upon someone else. There are many situations like this; all of them are transgressions.

 

It was barely perceptible. I didn’t intend to, but nevertheless I... I will seek to have the smallest sin forgiven.
