Holy Communion is a victory | Week of April 30

John 8: 34 NKJV

Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”

Holy Communion is a victory over sin. With each experience, we are released from sin and can enjoy renewed freedom. This is a great gift of grace to be aware of.

The Son of God’s words in the verse above clearly indicates that sin is bondage. Only a higher power can release you from this bondage. This is not something you can do yourself. It can only be achieved by the grace of God and will free you from all claims of the Evil One. By participating in Holy Communion you receive the power which helps you cling to the promises.

Angry? Annoyed? Jealous? Bitter? Irritable? I want victory over these! I will become victorious by the grace of Holy Communion!
