Matthew 26:20-22 NKJV
When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve. Now as they were eating, He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, “Lord, is it I?”
It is important that we see ourselves soberly, just like the apostles who were with the Lord Jesus. When the Lord indicated that one of them would betray Him, all of them asked: “Lord, is it I?”
Be honest with yourself and see yourself as you are. Ask yourself more often: “Lord, is it me?” You can also pray for this and ask the Lord to show you whether you meet the divine requirements or what it is that you must change. If this comes from the depth of your soul, the Lord will not pass you by.
I will ask the Lord to show me when “It is me.” I will look at myself honestly, and discover what the Lord would like me to change.
