Partaking in future glory | Week of November 27th

Romans 5:1-2, Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

From the sermon series: Christ, our hope

Romans 5 picks up as a continuation from the previous chapter, where Paul writes about being justified and made righteous by faith in Christ, instead of by works.

When we decided for Jesus and trusted in God, He gave us peace. Do you recognize His peace in your life? Just because we have God’s peace, does not mean we will experience a trial-free and suffering-free life. However, it does mean that in those trials and moments of suffering, we have the ability to be at peace because we trust in God and His greater plan for our lives. Let this knowledge offer you comfort in times when you do not feel peace.

How have you felt God’s peace in your life?
