Eternal fellowship with God | Week of November 26th

Revelation 21:3, And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.”

From the sermon series: Our future

In Revelation 21, John is recounting a vision from God that he had about the new creation.

Think about your relationship with God. If we’re being honest, there are probably some days when our relationship with Him is not always our priority. There are many things in this world to distract us from focusing on God. However, in the future, our relationship with God will be different. We will get to be in direct fellowship with Him for eternity. When Jesus was sent to earth, He was called Immanuel, which means, “God with us.” While we experience that God is with us right now, in the new heaven and new earth, we will be able to truly experience Immanuel – an eternity with the triune God. In that time, there will be nothing to distract us from our relationship with Him.

What is something that distracts you from your relationship with God? Is there anything you can do to minimize or eliminate this distraction and spend time with Him?
