Reaching Out

October 30, 2016 Nashua, NH

On Sunday many of the members of the Nashua congregation participated in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk in Nashua.  Our members walked as a visible sign of support for our sister Cindy, who is a 10-year cancer survivor.  Sunday's service time was moved to 1:00 pm to accommodate those who joined the walk.  After the walk we gathered at the church for lunch, followed by our Divine Service.

This is the second year the members of the Nashua congregation have participated in the "Operation Christmas Child" program.  Over the course of several months, shoe boxes were gathered, wrapped and filled with items for children in need around the world.  This year the members prepared over thirty shoe boxes!  Everyone is already looking forward to next year.
